The mission of the HIV/STD Service is to Protect and promote the public's health by intervening in the transmission of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis C, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). The HIV/STD Service is comprised of three focus areas: Prevention and Intervention, Care Delivery, and Surveillance and Analysis. The Surveillance and Analysis area does the following:
