Oklahoma Central Cancer Registry is the central database of information on all cancers diagnosed or treated in Oklahoma since
January 1, 1997. Oklahoma Statute 63 OS 1-551
requires all healthcare and health service providers to report specific information on every cancer case diagnosed or treated in Oklahoma.
Data sharing agreements with surrounding states are in place to assure the completeness of the information for all Oklahoma residents.
The Oklahoma Central Cancer Registry is able to provide outstanding data annually to the
North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) and the National Program of
Cancer Registries (NPCR) due to the collective efforts of all Oklahoma cancer reporters.
This query system of statewide registry data enables researchers, policymakers, and consumers
to obtain incidence for all major cancer sites. In addition, the data contained herein allows
both private and public health agencies and other data consumers to examine Oklahoma's cancer
trends and develop both cancer prevention and cancer control programs that are evidence-based.
The Oklahoma Central Cancer Registry acknowledges and thanks the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) and the National Program of Cancer Registries for its support of the Oklahoma staff
under cooperative agreement DP22-2202 NU58DP007125-05. The contents of these webpages are solely the
