Welcome to the Oklahoma State Department of Health's web-based query system, Oklahoma Statistics on Health Available for Everyone (OK2SHARE). This system allows users to query public health datasets directly without going through the request process.

OK2SHARE data are intended to support evidence-based decision making for public health in Oklahoma, to plan and improve service delivery, evaluate health care systems, inform policy decisions, and aid in research. Other uses or disclosures are not permitted.

Navigating OK2SHARE

OK2SHARE has been designed for easy access. The following steps will help you navigate through OK2SHARE.
  1. To retrieve data from OK2SHARE, first select the type of data you would like to access.

    Vital Statistics: Birth; Death; ITOP; Infant Death
    Hospital and ASC Discharges: Inpatient Discharges; ASC and Outpatient Surgeries; Emergency Departments
    Health Surveys: BRFSS; YRBS
    Health Registries: Birth Defects; Cancer; STI and HIV; Injury; COVID-19


  2. Next, if available, select the format of the information you want: statistics, crosstabs, static tables, etc.


  3. Follow the general instructions at the top of the page and submit your request. If you have difficulty selecting the criteria, you may contact the OK2SHARE staff at ok2share@health.ok.gov or (405) 426-8030.

Note: The National Center for Health Statistics has discontinued the postcensal bridged-race population estimates (used for calculating rates) with the release of the Vintage 2020 estimates. Starting with 2021 birth and death statistics and cancer and injury mortality, OK2SHARE will display the racial categories used by the U.S. Census Bureau - White, Black, American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander, and Two or more races. Hispanic Origin did not change. There will also be 2010 to 2020 trends using the new race categories along with the existing bridged race categories.
