National Arthritis Month
Arthritis Foundation Debuting Arthritis Screening Tool
In May, the Arthritis Foundation will be launching its
newly developed “Assess Your Joint Health” screening tool. This 12-question tool will enable
individuals to determine if they are at risk or experiencing symptoms of
arthritis. One risks or symptoms are
identified, the Arthritis Foundation will encourage individuals to take
preventive measures to lower risks or manage existing symptoms.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Oklahoma
Arthritis Network will be working closely with the Arthritis Foundation to
promote the use of this tool in May and thereafter.

May, please contact the OAN and the Arthritis Foundation so we may keep track
of those activities taking place and offer you more resources that could
enhance your events.
