Principal Job Duties:

The Procurement Division has two positions, qualified applicants applying for PIN #34002249 and PIN #34001863 will be considered at the same time and will be considered for both positions.

 

Position will be responsible for the coordination of agency needs to the appropriate acquisition process. Position will review specifications developed and submitted by other divisions of the agency, will work with end users to understand their needs and requirements, and will advise end users of applicable laws and procedures. Position will be responsible for determining method of acquisition and selection of vendors in accordance with the Central Purchasing Act, Central Purchasing Rules, State P/Card Procedures, and OSDH internal purchasing and P/Card procedures, and for ensuring all documentation related to the particular acquisition and selected method of acquisition is provided in the acquisition file of record. Position will be required to become a P/Card cardholder and currently be a Certified Procurement Officer. The position will be responsible for working with contract, purchase order and P/card acquisitions and documentation and entering data related to acquisitions into various tracking system(s).  Current State of Oklahoma P/Card experience preferred. CPO certification is required.

 

Other:

Position requires possible response to public health emergencies including, but not limited to, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, or catastrophic events.  The Oklahoma State Department of Health is tobacco free.  Employees are prohibited from using tobacco products throughout all indoor and outdoor areas of premises under the control of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, in all vehicles on those premises, and in state vehicles in use for OSDH business anywhere.  Applicants may be subject to a background check.
