Principal Job Duties:
Position will be open until 5:00 PM, October 6, 2012, or until filled. Please be advised that applications are actively being considered as they are received, as such this position could be filled anytime before the closing date.
The major functions of this position are to conduct technical licensure and certification surveys of Medicare/Medicaid and state-licensed long term care facilities; coordinate with specialized consultants in the process of comprehensive reviews, inspections, and evaluations of long term care facilities; review reports and survey results and make recommendations regarding licensure and/or certification of long term care facilities; and provide consultation to health care providers and their staff.
Other:
Position requires possible response to public health emergencies including, but not limited to, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, or catastrophic events. The Oklahoma State Department of Health is tobacco free. Employees are prohibited from using tobacco products throughout all indoor and outdoor areas of premises under the control of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, in all vehicles on those premises, and in state vehicles in use for OSDH business.
